Barback FT

JOB SUMMARY The barback plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth bar service. They are responsible for providing supplies and providing the bartender with items upon request that help assure exceptional guest service. They restock liquors, refill garnishes, polish glasses, stock napkins, haul kegs and assist with orders on the bar POS. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS • Replenish bar inventory and supplies, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, glassware, and other necessary items. Ensure all items are organized and easily accessible. • Maintain a clean and organized bar area by cleaning and sanitizing countertops, equipment, and glassware. Dispose of trash and ensure all bar areas are tidy. • Assist bartenders in preparing and serving beverages, including fetching supplies, cutting garnishes, and restocking as needed. Aid in setting up and breaking down the bar area before and after shifts. • Provide friendly and efficient service to guests, addressing any inquiries or requests promptly and courteously. Maintain a professional demeaner and appearance at all times. • Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including proper handling and storage of beverages and supplies. Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures. • Ensure that tables are cleared and reset efficiently and promptly after guests depart from the bar. • Perform any related duties as requested by bartender/supervisor/manager.
