EnSafe emphasizes empowering staff to practice our profession passionately and without limitations.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES</strong><br><strong><em>In this role, you will:</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage and perform tasks in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team environment supporting a variety of environmental assessment and remediation projects.</li> <li>Provide overall task and project management and assist in establishing project-specific objectives, scopes, schedules, and budgets.</li> <li>Communicate with clients, regulatory agencies, vendors, subcontractors, and other stakeholders.</li> <li>Oversee site investigation activities (soil, groundwater, sediment, surface water, indoor air [VI], soil gas, and other media).</li> <li>Review existing data, develop strategies, and design technical approaches for site assessment and remediation for various/emerging contaminants.</li> <li>Write and review technical documents, including sampling and analysis plans/work plans and investigation/monitoring reports.</li> <li>Prepare remediation feasibility studies, decision documents, remedial action plans, and cost estimates.</li> <li>Coordinate data validation, data compilation, database management, statistical evaluation, and data presentation/modeling with technical support teams.</li> <li>Respond to client requests and solicitations.</li> <li>Oversee and manage subcontractors, including solicitation and evaluation of subcontractor proposals.</li> <li>Implement safety, quality, and risk management leadership at a project level.</li> <li>Mentor junior staff to develop technical skills and client service culture.</li> </ul> <p><strong>SKILLS/EXPERIENCE<br><em>Minimum Skills and Requirements:</em></strong></p> <ul> <li>Bachelor’s degree in Environmental/Civil Engineering, Geology, or Hydrogeology. Master’s degree is a plus.</li> <li>3-8 years of environmental consulting experience</li> <li>Professional Engineer, (P.E.) or Geologist (P.G.) is preferred (or ability to obtain) including strong technical background and proven task, project, and leadership management experience.</li> <li>Strong experience with and elevated level of knowledge of TRRP, RCRA and CERCLA regulations, laws, and policies.</li> <li>OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER and 8-Hour Supervisor training and refresher updates.</li> <li>OSHA 30-Hour Construction Training.</li> <li>Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills.</li> <li>Critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with a client-first mentality.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and collaborate with dynamic project teams.</li> <li>A business mindset: supporting corporate goals of growing revenue, maintaining profitability, and sustaining utilization through billable hours while successfully managing a variety of projects and personnel.</li> <li>Ability to travel 30% regionally with overnights.</li> </ul> <p style="text-align: left;"><strong><em>Preferred Skills</em>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>2+ years of related project management, fiscal management, or task management experience; DoD experience is a plus.</li> <li> <p>Staff management and supervisory experience and interest in mentoring and coaching.</p> </li> </ul> <p><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong><u>Why Join EnSafe?</u></strong></span></p> <ul> <li style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;"><strong>Employee-Owned Advantage</strong></span><br><span style="font-family: helvetica, arial, sans-serif;">EnSafe is 100% employee-owned, with an ESOP (Employee Stock Ownership Plan) since 1997.
