SUMMARY OF POSITIO N administer medicines, manage IV therapy effectively, perform special care treatments and procedures such as dressings, foley catheters, operation of pumps, special beds as ordered by policy and procedure. Process medical and nursing orders, according to policy; Operate necessary equipment properly to carry out physician's orders. Intervene in emergency and life-threatening situations, according to established policy. Report timely with pertinent data to incoming shifts; Perform other duties as assigned. Chart significant and meaningful observations of residents reflecting nursing process. Assess and identify resident problems, symptoms, and behavioral changes; Supervise ancillary nursing staff effectively. Collaborate with all team members to promote quality care; Communicate with physicians or designee as necessary and with professionalism. Communication skills must show compassion and caring for all residents, family members and staff. License Maintain a State of TN or multi-state license as a LPN Possess current CPR certification
