This role involves hands-on work with ArcGIS platforms, geospatial data management, workflow automation, Lidar data processing, and development of scalable mapping solutions. The position will collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to deliver innovative solutions that support disaster recovery, environmental operations, and business-critical initiatives.  Key Responsibilities  Geospatial Systems & Platform Management  Work hands-on with Esri products including ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online, Field Maps, Survey123, and related mobile solutions.   Install, configure, upgrade, maintain, and troubleshoot ArcGIS Server, Portal, Datastore, and associated environments.   Perform system health checks, optimization, and performance testing using Esri best practices.   Development & Automation  Develop and automate geospatial workflows using Python (ArcPy, ArcGIS API for Python).   Build web mapping applications and tools using ArcGIS API for JavaScript.   Create custom algorithms, scripts, and spatial models to solve operational challenges.   Data Management & Analysis  Create, maintain, and analyze spatial datasets using ArcSDE and Microsoft SQL Server 2019+.   Manage enterprise geodatabases and ensure data integrity, accuracy, and availability.   Capture, process, and analyze drone and backpack Lidar data for engineering and mapping use cases.   Collaboration & Delivery  Partner with global and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and validate use cases.   Analyze, debug, and resolve issues identified during QA, testing, or production support.   Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, and delivery reviews.   Prepare technical documentation, reports, presentations, and user guides.     Required Qualifications  Experience  Minimum 5 years of experience in GIS, geospatial engineering, or related software engineering roles.   Proven hands-on experience with Esri suite of products.   Experience in processing Lidar data for engineering or mapping applications.   Strong experience in geospatial workflow automation and scripting.   Experience with enterprise geodatabases and SQL Server 2019+.   Education & Certifications  Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in GIS, Geographic Science, Computer Science, Survey Engineering, or related field.   Esri certifications preferred (ArcGIS Enterprise / Desktop / Developer certifications are a plus).   Knowledge & Skills  Deep expertise in ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Enterprise, ArcGIS Online.   Strong proficiency in Python, ArcPy, ArcGIS API for Python, JavaScript, and PowerShell.   Knowledge of ArcGIS Server, Portal, Data Stores, Survey123, Field Maps, QuickCapture.   Strong SQL Server and database management skills.   Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.   Strong written and verbal communication skills.   Ability to present technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences.  What to Expect  In this role, you will work in a dynamic, mission-driven environment supporting geospatial solutions that directly impact disaster response, environmental services, and operational excellence.
