Medical Collections Specialist Remote

Seeking a Full Time Patient Account Representative/ Medical Collections Specialist for fully remote work. The Insurance Collector is responsible for the full accounts receivable cycle. General duties include verification of benefits, secondary insurance filings, send monthly statement to patients, follow-up on unpaid insurance claims, secondary insurance filings, collection procedures on delinquent accounts, coordinate the resolution of claims, including initiation of appeals and verification of demographic and insurance information, when needed, and assisting the business office as necessary.
