About this role

The Migration Manager oversees documentation and ensures all configuration is in sync across environments. Owns the quality of configured data and validity of the configuration processes and operations. What You’ll Do Quality Oversight Ensure documented sign-off prior to migrations Ensure all unit testing and validations are completed on the target configuration to be moved. Manage risks and resolves issues that affect release scope, sprint schedule and quality Change Management Support transition to production migration path Coordination between configuration and technical teams Coordinate release content and effort based on service request backlog, pending service requests, third party applications, or operating systems updates Development and organization of migration resources including development of a repository of configuration build Maintains a configuration/release repository (Jira) and manages key information such as, configuration, test and release procedures, dependencies and notification lists Develops script sand automation tools used to maintain (Jira), configure, integrate and deploys releases to various platforms Coordinate with HealthEdge and IT Infrastructure to report, escalate, and resolve environment issues Communicate all key backlog, commitments, and changes including requirements, QA plans, sprint schedule and scope changes to business owners/leads Conduct release readiness reviews, milestone/sprint reviews and business go/no-go reviews Lead and coordinate go-live activities against a timeline, including the execution of the deployment plans and checklists Manage resources to manually migrate configurations between environments Work with release engineers to understand impacts of branches, timelines and code merges   What You’ll Bring You will possess a detailed understanding and will skillfully use the techniques of system design, reengineering, project management, quality improvement, outcomes measurement, and statistical analysis.  Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and group facilitation skills required, with the ability to convey complex/technical information in a manner that others can understand Position requires flexibility to work remotely and/or travel to client locations as needed with the ability to meet multiple deadlines and handle interruptions to on-going work activities You’ll Be Successful If You are comfortable with an "all hands on deck" mentality, love solving problems and can thrive in a fast paced culture. You are a team player but also can contribute individually to get things done fast and while using limited resources You are adaptable and can work successfully in a constantly changing environment.
