Job Purpose  Reporting to the Head of Middle Office, as Middle Office Analyst you will be focusing on… Person Specification  The selected individual will carry out business-as-usual activities and assist with process improvements. A strong understanding of the full trade lifecycle in traditional asset classes will be needed. Duties/Responsibilities  Exhibit GC values: accountability, passion, integrity, excellence, collaboration and personalisation.  Accountable for understanding Consumer Duty policy and procedures; partnering and collaborating within the team to achieve set standards. Carry out external and internal trade validation Monitor and validate margin requirements Assist with monthly commissions process Investigation and clearance of reconciliation breaks Appropriate escalation of any trade related queries Assist with daily cash and liquidity management operations Monitor and execute daily funding and cash concentration transfers Help to identify and implement process efficiencies Ensure adherence to legal/regulatory requirements, internal policies and guidelines Support the identification and management of service affecting incidents Qualification & Experience  Previous Middle Office work experience Cash or securities trading background OTC and clearing experience highly beneficial Safeguarding / CASS knowledge Knowledge of regulatory framework and AML procedures Proficient at establishing credibility quickly and building relationships with a range of stakeholders Ability to communicate effectively (both oral and written) Good level of data management skills (SQL skills beneficial) Benefits of working at GC Partners 25 days of holiday per year, plus bank holidays Complimentary Health insurance  Employee assistance programme A truly global business with opportunities for growth Equal opportunities  GC Partners is an equal opportunity employer.
