About this role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining the mechanical and hydraulic components of production and facility equipment using hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments. This position will visually inspect and listen to machines and equipment to identify causes of malfunctions, keep equipment operational, and perform preventive maintenance. The Maintenance Technician is essential in helping the plant provide high-quality products and efficient service to our customers by minimizing operational downtime. The ideal candidate must have electrical experience.  Core Responsibilities:   Perform a wide range of duties to install and maintain production machines and facility equipment. Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance during the planned assignment. Perform mechanical skills, including but not limited to mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic work, as well as troubleshooting and repair. Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service. Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and adjust. Detect faulty operations and defective material, and report them and any unusual situations to the proper supervision. Comply with LOTO and safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas. Completes special projects as assigned. Participates in continuing education and training sessions to stay current with equipment changes. Respond to maintenance calls throughout the shift as quickly as possible. Responsible for follow-up on preventative maintenance and PMs. Comply with OSHA Safety and Health rules. Perform all other duties as assigned by Plant Leadership. All maintenance team members are expected to provide a high level of customer service when assisting colleagues, supervisors, and other departments. This includes maintaining a professional and respectful attitude, communicating clearly and effectively, and ensuring that all issues are addressed in a helpful and solution-oriented manner. Electrical experience in manufacturing.
