Temporary Housekeeper

Under the direction of the Housekeeping Supervisor, this position will be responsible for creating clean, orderly, and attractive facilities in all our campus spaces. Spaces for daily or routine cleaning could include academic buildings, classroom settings, public/common spaces, offices and residence halls.   This is a temporary position expected to last approximately eight weeks.   Duties and Responsibilities: Performs cleaning duties in all areas that are assigned.  Cleans floors with vacuums, dust mops and/or wet mops Collects and removes trash and recyclable materials and deposits to designated areas Cleans, polishes furniture/fixtures in assigned areas and arranges furniture and/or equipment as directed Operates light power cleaning equipment and performs preventatives maintenance Maintains adequate stock of supplies in bathrooms and storage areas Complete additional duties as assigned.
