Senior Project Coordinator

Your tasks and responsibilities: Responsible for the successful and proactive daily operation of export and import, sea freight, air freight, heavy haul, and project cargo forwarding activities. Supervise cargo loading and discharge operations at ports of loading/discharge, job sites, factories, workshops, and other customer locations. Receive bookings from agents or clients, prepare quotations, and follow up to secure business opportunities. Conduct freight negotiations with carriers, haulers, freight handlers, deugro overseas offices, and agents across all transportation modes to ensure competitiveness and profitability. Manage and coordinate door-to-door (DAP/DDP) and multimodal transportation projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective execution. Monitor and coordinate containerized cargo movements, including FCL/LCL shipments, routing, carrier performance, and cost control. Follow up with operations teams and subcontractors to ensure successful shipment execution and delivery to customers. Assist with the preparation of RFQs, tenders, and bid responses. Act as the primary operational contact for customers, agents, carriers, subcontractors, and overseas offices. Support and mentor junior project coordinators and operations personnel when required. Proactively identify operational risks and implement mitigation measures to ensure project success. Drive operational excellence, customer satisfaction, cost optimization, and profitability throughout project execution. Together with the Line Manager and Regional QHSES team, ensure compliance with all local QHSES requirements and company standards.
