Summary: Under general supervision, while conforming to established policies and procedures, is responsible for providing high quality customer service. Position Expectations • Demand deposit and savings account transactions, safety deposit box activities (if available) • Check cashing and selling monetary instruments. • Cross-sell bank services and make product referrals. • Will attend training sessions and participate in training exercises for various banking topics. • Balance each day’s transactions and verify cash totals. • Assist with balancing ATMs and the TCR. • Assists other tellers with balancing, resolving problem situations as required. • Will be cross trained to perform Universal Banker duties if needed. • Also performs other duties as assigned by supervisor. • The analytical ability to resolve balancing discrepancies. • Maintain strict confidentiality. • Conduct all duties in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and bank policies and procedures. Preferred Education and Experience • High school diploma or G.E.D. College degree is preferred. • Cash handling experience • Sales or customer service experience • Bi-lingual applicants will receive special consideration.
