Position Summary As a member of the centralized pricing team, the Junior Pricing Analyst will support the delivery of accurate, competitive, and timely customer quotations that align with business objectives and margin targets. This entry-level role pairs developing analytical skills with growing commercial awareness—focused mainly on assisting with transactional quoting, maintaining pricing data, and supporting process execution under guidance. The Junior Pricing Analyst will work closely with Sales, Operations, and Finance to support day-to-day quoting activity, while contributing to improvements in pricing tools, processes, and data quality. This role suits recent graduates or professionals with 1–3 years of experience and requires curiosity, attention to detail, and the ability to learn to interpret business data to support quoting decisions and improve operational efficiency. Primary Responsibilities / Essential Functions Quote Execution: Prepare accurate and timely customer quotes using established pricing tools and methodologies, ensuring compliance with pricing policies, margin targets, and operational feasibility. Data Analysis: Use available data sources (e.g., historical pricing, market segment benchmarks, win/loss data) to inform quote decisions and recommend appropriate pricing responses. Continuous Improvement: Support opportunities to improve quoting processes, tools, and templates. Provide structured feedback to help enhance pricing accuracy and efficiency. Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Product Management, and Finance to clarify quote requirements, resolve discrepancies, and ensure pricing reflects true costs and value. Data Integrity: Maintain and validate pricing and quoting data within core systems (e.g., CRM, ERP, BI platforms such as Tableau or Power BI). Business Awareness: Develop a strong understanding of Oliver’s product portfolio, manufacturing capabilities, and cost structures to enable sound pricing recommendations. Process Compliance: Adhere to pricing governance, approval protocols, and documentation standards. Reporting: Support the team by generating recurring and ad hoc pricing reports, including quote turnaround metrics, win/loss outcomes, and margin performance indicators.
