Our BCBA Fellows provide one-on-one care through ABA behavior interventions to teach communication, practice daily living skills, and encourage positive behaviors. Fellows will be eligible to complete unrestricted activities, as defined by the BACB, to help meet requirements to sit for the BCBA exam.</span></p> <p style="margin: 0px;"> </p> <p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="color: #722257; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt;"><strong>Responsibilities</strong></span></p> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica; color: black;">Restricted/Direct Activities:</span> <ul> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica;">Build a positive and trusting relationship with clients through social interaction.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica;">Encourage the development of communication, social skills, and problem-solving by guiding clients towards safe and acceptable behaviors.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica;">Gradually reduce prompts to promote independent responses while ensuring success.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica;">Increase the occurrence and duration of desirable behaviors by providing positive reinforcement.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica;">Accurately collect unbiased behavior data.</span></li> <li><span style="font-size: 10pt; font-family: helvetica;">Communicate proactively with fellow RBTs, BCBAs, families, and Clinical Directors to support the clients’ needs.</span></li> </ul> </li> <li><span style="color: #000000; font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Unrestricted Activities:</span> <ul> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Observe and collect data.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Train staff and caregivers on behavior-analytic programs.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Conduct behavior-analytic assessments (e.g., functional analyses, stimulus preference assessments).</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Research literature relevant to a current client’s programming.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;">Write and revise behavior-analytic programs.</span></li> </ul> </li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000;">Maintain BACB Ethical Compliance Code for RBTs and client dignity.</span></li> <li><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt; color: #000000;">Work with BCBA Mentor on guided practice of the BCBA role throughout Fellowship.</span></li> </ul> <p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 12pt; color: #003d4c;"><span style="color: #722257;"><strong>Qualifications</strong></span></span></p> <p style="margin: 0px;"><span style="font-family: helvetica; font-size: 10pt;"><span style="color: #008080;"><strong>       ✔</strong></span> Enrolled or graduated from a BACB approved Master’s or Certification Program.
