Salary Range:  $62,000 - $65,000 Role & R esponsibilities Use a variety of instructional strategies, materials, and technology to teach required material to students. Plan instruction to meet individual and group needs. Responsible for following the SOL teaching guidelines in all SOL classes. Keep accurate and up-to-date records for students. Provide healthy and appropriate role modeling, being careful to avoid continually singling out a student. Work closely with the School Principal along with other YFT staff to ensure the Education program remains successful. Keep fellow Teachers, House Parents, Therapists, and Case Managers informed of student’s progress and specific areas of concentration for each student. Assist in monitoring and supervising of lunch period(s) during an academic day as requested. Assist with direct supervision of student(s) at all times during the school day. Present pertinent information (positive and/or negative) as required for the weekly Evaluation Team Meeting.
