The BMS Project Manager role will be responsible for all aspects of project delivery from undertaking sales to operations handovers, supply chain engagement, engineering management right through to project handover and post completion support. Type of contract : Permanent Department : BMS Hours : Monday to Friday, 45 Hours per week, 07:00am - 04:00pm Location : London - must be willing to travel outside London should it be required. Salary: Dependent on experience Requirements A minimum of 5 years with project management experience in the construction industry, with experience in BMS and control systems. Ability to manage internal & external stakeholders Experience working on projects in £2-£4M+ value Experience of managing H&S in a construction environment Valid Safe pass site card Experience working within Datacentres / critical infrastructure environments Knowledge of Metasys, Tridium, Trend or any OEM BMS platform First Aid & SMSTS / SSSTS Responsibilities Develop and maintain relationships with customers, suppliers and vendors Undertake a sales handover to understand the scope of works and then filter through to the necessary project team Responsible for H&S and environmental management Ability to drive the project programme, ensuring key milestones are maintained. Ability to foresee potential points of failure and react accordingly. Prepare and present regular progress reports including programme drop lines to project stakeholders. Understanding the importance of the development and submission of RFI’s, TQ’s and driving close out of items raised. Familiar with Technical Submission procedures and sign off. Provide direction, control and implementation of projects Responsible for the project commercial performance Monitor, review and report on the progress of all projects Drive standardisation throughout the organisation, ensuring project documentation is consistent Engage with Supply Chain & Subcontract organisations Provide regular reports to leadership Undertake risk reviews Chair Client meetings Benefits Following 12 months of continuous employment, you are entitled to become a beneficiary of the Employee-Owned Trust (EOT) scheme.
