The Senator John Heinz History Center is a Smithsonian-affiliated museum and a first-day Pittsburgh attraction that presents compelling stories from American history with a Western Pennsylvania connection, all in an interactive and engaging environment for visitors of all ages. About the Postion The Heinz History Center is seeking a full, time Exhibit Technician to join our Exhibit team. The Exhibit Technician’s primary responsibility is to assist with the development, production, installation maintenance and de-installation of exhibits.  The successful candidate will assist with the fabrication of exhibits including painting, construction, making mounts, installing objects and graphics, and creating hands-on interactives. Other responsibilities include drywall spakling and finishing, painting, sanding, cleaning and maintenance of exhibit galleries, assistance with A/V equipment and maintaining a clean / safe wood shop and fabrication area. This is a full-time, hourly, non-exempt position reporting to the Director of Exhibit Production.   Why Work at the History Center?
