<p></p> <p>We are looking for an experienced Manual QA Engineer to join a retail project focused on testing web applications.</p> <p>In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring software quality through comprehensive manual testing, designing effective test cases, performing backend validation, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, high-quality solutions.</p> data-section-id="43386a" data-start="619" data-end="693">Perform manual testing of web applications across multiple environments.</li> <li data-section-id="vnhf3k" data-start="694" data-end="773">Design, create, execute, and maintain detailed test cases and test scenarios.</li> <li data-section-id="ryo3f8" data-start="774" data-end="857">Validate backend functionality through API and database testing where applicable.</li> <li data-section-id="hx597e" data-start="858" data-end="929">Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using<strong> Azure DevOps.</strong></li> <li data-section-id="1g83d5r" data-start="930" data-end="1015">Participate in test planning and contribute to the project's overall test strategy.</li> <li data-section-id="4962j" data-start="1016" data-end="1087">Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing.</li> <li data-section-id="juxlpa" data-start="1088" data-end="1220">Collaborate closely with developers, business analysts, and product owners to ensure quality throughout the development lifecycle.</li> <li data-section-id="1aqk127" data-start="1221" data-end="1289">Analyze test results and provide clear, actionable defect reports.</li> <li data-section-id="6h3lsd" data-start="1290" data-end="1376">Share testing knowledge, best practices, and support continuous process improvement.</li> <li []"><strong>Your profile:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>3+ years of experience in manual testing of web applications.</li> <li>Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps or similar test management and bug tracking tools.</li> <li>Strong understanding of test case design techniques and testing methodologies.</li> <li>Extensive knowledge of the software testing lifecycle and quality assurance processes.</li> <li>Experience implementing and following project test strategies.</li> <li>Practical knowledge of backend testing, including API and database validation.</li> <li>Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.</li> <li>Ability to work independently and proactively in a remote environment.</li> <li>Strong communication skills and willingness to acquire and share knowledge.</li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Practical experience using AI-powered assistants (e.g. Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to improve productivity, quality, or decision-making in software delivery.</span></li> </ul> <p><strong>Work from Bulgaria and a work permit are required.</strong></p> <h2><strong>Nice to have:</strong></h2> <ul> <li>Experience working on Retail or eCommerce projects.</li> <li>Familiarity with SQL and REST APIs.</li> <li>Experience with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.</li> <li>Basic understanding of test automation concepts.</li> <li> <p><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Experience applying GenAI in a more structured way within the SDLC, including defined workflows, prompt patterns, or tool integrations embedded into daily work.</span></p> </li> <li><span data-olk-copy-source="MessageBody">Interest in and familiarity with emerging AI-driven practices (e.g. agent-based workflows,
