Sit-Down Forklift Operator

  We are seeking experienced Sit-Down Forklift Operators for a growing distribution and logistics facility in North Memphis. This position offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance, attendance, and business needs. Candidates must have extensive sit-down forklift experience and be comfortable working a rotating schedule that includes both day and overnight shifts.     Responsibilities Safely operate a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment.  Load, unload, move, stack, and stage materials and products.  Transport inventory throughout the facility while maintaining accuracy.  Perform daily forklift inspections and report any equipment issues.  Follow all OSHA, company, and safety regulations.  Assist with inventory control and material tracking.  Maintain a clean and organized work area.  Work effectively with warehouse team members and supervisors. Requirements   Requirements Minimum 5 years of recent sit-down forklift experience .  Must possess a valid forklift certification/license for operating a sit-down forklift.  Proven ability to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.  Stable work history with strong attendance and reliability.  Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.  Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work throughout a 12-hour shift.  Must be willing to work a rotating schedule, including overnight shifts.  Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements.  Schedule 12-hour shifts   4 days on / 4 days off   Rotating schedule
