Vault Cashier

This role is responsible for processing and verifying vendor machine cash and coins. Key Responsibilities Receive deposits from vending staff. Opens and verifies contents of shipment against receipt. Separates out and counts cash and coins. Consolidates multiple locations' currency. Prepares deposit slips. Prepares reports as required. Maintains accurate accounting and audit trails for all funds following company policies and procedures. Continuously seeks to improve efficiency and processes. Makes recommendations, gains approval, and implements changes. Performs other duties as requested by management. Supports a service-oriented environment that leads others to improve their service actions. Maintains positive attitude with co-workers and vendors. Portrays enthusiasm to each customer/vendor. Follows through with action when special requests are made. Promotes the maintenance of a safe, accident free and healthy work environment. Consistently seeks to learn other functions and assists team members as needed. Maintains positive and professional image. Arrives to work on time and ready to work. Ensures integrity and honestly in handling large volumes of money. Additional duties and responsibilities, as assigned from time to time. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise High school diploma. At least two years of previous related experience.
