You'll work in our Toledo shop disassembling, repairing, testing, and reconditioning AC/DC motors using your hands, your judgment, and a set of skills you'll keep building for years. No prior motor experience required just a strong mechanical aptitude, a willingness to learn, and the work ethic to do the job right every time. What You'll Do Motor Repair & Reconditioning Disassemble, inspect, repair, and reassemble AC/DC electric motors and accessories to Romanoff's stringent quality standards. Operate cranes, forklifts, and other material handling equipment to safely position parts throughout the repair process. Maintain all shop tools and equipment in proper working order; keep your workspace clean and organized to standard. Testing & Quality Perform routine motor testing including: megging, surge/hipot testing, micrometer fits, single-phase rotor tests, growler tests, drop tests, bar-to-bar tests, and dynamic balancing. Work in full accordance with all safety guidelines — every job, every time. Complete all required paperwork accurately and on time for every order.
