Today, <strong>we employ over 14500 employees, thereof in Europe alone</strong> over 800 sales consultants, as well as more than 4200 mobile service engineers, maintain a close-knit network providing quality consulting and comprehensive service.</p> <p> </p> <p>In short, your role within <strong>Jungheinrich</strong> will play a crucial part in providing the customer with complete peace of mind in managing their intra-company logistics.  </p> <p> </p> <h3>The Role </h3> <ul> <li>Performing maintenance and repair work on Forklift Trucks and other Materials Handling Equipment for Jungheinrich UK, working at our national workshop in Warrington.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h3>Role Responsibilities</h3> <ul> <li>Maintaining and operating to health and safety standards on site in line with a 5S approach.</li> <li>Repairing Material Handling Equipment delivered to the workshop.</li> <li>Service and LOLER inspections of Material Handling Equipment.</li> <li>Preparing Material Handling Equipment for demonstration or hires.</li> <li>Carrying out repair assessments.</li> </ul> <p>In addition to the duties and responsibilities listed, the job holder may be required to perform other duties assigned by the Workshop Supervisor.</p> <p> </p> <h3>Person Requirements</h3> <ul> <li>We are looking for mechanically and electrical biased engineers from any type of maintenance / service background specifically general automotive technicians, HGV, mobile plant, forklift, or ex forces military vehicle engineers.</li> </ul> <p> </p> <h3>Competencies Required</h3> <ul> <li>Mechanical/Electrical engineering experience</li> <li>Methodical approach to diagnostics</li> <li>Product knowledge (JH or similar)</li> <li>Able to work unsupervised</li> <li>Good communication skills</li> <li>Good team worker with a can do attitude</li> <li>Able to work to deadlines</li> <li>Improvement mentality</li> <li>Attention to detail</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p>Jungheinrich is an attractive employer and cares about its employees.
